On the 25th April, 2013 Ms. Renee Laiviera attended the third edition of the Forum tal-President re changes to the Constitution on behalf of the Malta Confederation of Women’s Organisations. During discussion time, Ms. Laiviera stood up to highlight the fact that only one panellist referred to the need for changes to include a higher participation of women and emphasised that the Konvenzjoni Kostituzzjonali should address the democratic deficit existing at present and include the need for participation of women in all sectors. Ms Renee Laiviera, Chairperson MCWO, took part in a discussion on the Labour Market and Precarious Work on the occasion of 1st May 2012 celebrations organised by the Labour Party at St. George Square in Valletta. MCWO delegation made up of 15 members and led by the Chair Ms Renee Laiviera, paid a visit to the Speaker of the House on Tues 6 December 2011 between 6.00 and 7.30pm.
